Project description
Located in the commune of Plévin, in the Côtes d'Armor region, the solar power plant is installed on a rehabilitated former landfill site. The choice of this type of site lends itself well to such projects, which offer a number of advantages, not least of which is the ability to make use of otherwise unusable land.
With a capacity of 9.4 MWp, the park will be one of the 5 largest projects in Brittany in terms of output, and will be operated for around 30 years.
The photovoltaic park will house 17,300 solar panels over 7.5 hectares and will produce enough power to cover the annual domestic consumption (excluding heating) of around 9,800 people.
