Project description
An agrivoltaic power plant project is currently being developed in the Yonne department (89), specifically in the commune of Etivey.
Situated north of the commune along Route Départementale 115, this project aims to repurpose a portion of agricultural fallow land. After carrying out ecological studies over a full year, covering all four seasons, the site was selected based on environmental, landscape, and agronomic considerations, in close collaboration with local farmers. The chosen area is located on land of low agronomic quality, with few environmental constraints.
Special care has been taken to ensure the project blends harmoniously into the landscape, particularly given its location near a main road. A 3-meter-wide landscape hedge will be planted between the road and the agrivoltaic park's fence, and the first solar modules will be positioned 15 meters from the fence.
This project seeks to explore the synergy between the existing fallow land and the cultivation of fodder resources over an area of just under 10 hectares. The project will have an approximate capacity of 5.9 MWp, sufficient to meet the average electricity needs of 1,600 households.
