This wind farm was the first built and operated by Renner Energies (formerly Windvision) and the first of its kind worldwide. It consists of 11 Enercon E-126 wind turbines, 10 of which have a rated capacity of 7.5 MW and 1 has a rated capacity of 6 MW, for a total installed capacity of 81 MW. This installation marked the first use of this type of turbine in the world.
The wind farm produces 170,000 MWh, which covers the electricity needs (excluding heating) of almost 48,500 households.
Building this wind farm demanded determination and innovation. We successfully developed, built and operated the wind farm until its sale in December 2016.
