Renner Energies is developing several agrivoltaic projects in the Coullons area, combining renewable energy production and livestock farming. These installations will provide shade for the herds while improving forage quality, thus contributing to a sustainable and balanced agricultural model.
The Coullons - L'Auberge Neuve agrivoltaic project, located south of the commune near the D940, was designed to combine energy production with cattle farming on land with low agricultural value.
The site will be used for grazing cattle, with the solar panels providing natural shade. The project will also help improve forage quality, supporting both farming and the energy transition.
