The Bordeneuve agrivoltaic project, covering the commune of Marmont-Pachas, supports two farms: GAEC Ferme du Cabier and Coppi. Located on cereal-growing plots with declining yields in the face of drought, this project aims to support more sustainable agriculture.

The installation of agrivoltaic panels will meet these challenges while contributing to the local energy transition. Renner Energies is co-constructing this project with the farmers to ensure that it is adapted to their practices.

Agricultural project

The development of the agricultural project is designed to maximize the benefits for both the farm and the local area.

As a result, photovoltaic technologies are well suited to maintaining agricultural activity.

Of the 20-hectare study area at Marmont-Pachas, 37% will be fitted with solar panels, under which crops will be grown.

Fixed technology: south-facing panels, 15° to 20° inclination - maximum height of 3 meters and raised for poultry.

4-meter inter-row spacing, allowing crop development: maximum coverage rate of 40%, compliance with the 10% UAA (Useful Agricultural Area) loss threshold.
